About Us

East End Theatre came into being from the June 1998 merging of Gloucester Players (30 years standing) and Amateur Cumberland Theatre Society (5 years standing). We have now completed eight seasons and endeavor to include one play with Canadian content. We have now added three successful Pantomimes to our repertoire. Our pantomimes are performed at Christmas and include many local children and adults.

East End Theatre is a community based theatrical group who aim to create a nurturing, professional and fun environment for seasoned or first time actors and technical volunteers. EET enables them to reach their own potential within a joint team pursuit of excellence and is backed by enthusiastic experienced teachers.

Our shows are performed locally at:
The Orléans Théatre, 255 Centrum Boulevard, Orleans. Rehearsals are held at:
The Queenswood Heights Community Centre, Prestwick Drive, Orleans.
